Quick Overview

The Warrior Pendant commemorates Kamehameha the Great who was bigger, stronger and fiercer in battle than anyone. After the Battle of Nuuanu on Oahu in 1795, Kamehameha united the Hawaiian Islands, founded the Kingdom of Hawaii and proved to be as wise in peace as he was brutal in battle. He maintained the ancient traditions, welcomed innovations and was the first Hawaiian to accept gold and silver coins as money
