Quick Overview

1992 marked the 125th anniversary of the founding of St. Andrew Episcopal Cathedral. After King Kamehameha IV, who donated the land died suddenly, his wife, Queen Emma, raised the money for the magnificent stone church that is located in downtown Honolulu, next to the Governor's mansion.

The obverse features the first duo engravings of Queen Emma and an original computer generated portrait of King Kamehameha IV as no profile photo exists. The reverse features a majestic image of St. Andrews Cathedral with exacting detail.
