The 2010 Princess Hapaiwakalua Silver Dala features Princess Kaiulani who was only 16 years old when she was named “Heir Apparent” to the Royal Hawaiian Throne by her aunt Queen Liliuokalani in 1891. Her future seemed bright but she lived far from her island home, never married and died an early death. She is remembered for spreading Aloha wherever she traveled.
